Queensland Gaming Revenue Trend 
August 2013 has shown an increase in gaming revenue growth for Queensland Hotels and Clubs.

Total state gaming revenue has increased 1.83% on August 2012.

The growth and decline that the gaming industry (as a result of the 100% non smoking ban introduced 1 August 2006, and economic factors) has experienced since January 2007 on a yearly month on month basis are illustrated in the following graph:

The Office of Liquor & Gaming Regulation have now upgraded their statistics to use the 2011 Census data Statistical Area Level 4 reporting areas.

Residential Property Rental Appraiser - Affordable Management Corporation (AMC)


AMC has a full time position available for a Residential Property Rental Appraiser.  AMC manages compliance for the National Rental Affordability Scheme (NRAS), assisting low income earners into new rental properties across QLD, South Australia, Victoria and WA.  AMC is Australia's third largest NRAS compliance company.

As our Rental Appraiser you will be required to gather, records and monitor requests from property managers for changes to NRAS dwelling rents, research the local rental market to determine quarterly movements in rents and complete desktop rental valuations, maintain a library of desktop market rentals for our NRAS dwellings and ensure rentals are set at an appropriate level for NRAS tenants while remaining compliant with the Scheme.

AS a key member of the AMC compliance team, your responsibilities will also extend to NRAS Federal and State Government compliance and reporting, assessing applications from prospective NRAS tenants, operation of and data entry to internal and external databases for our NRAS dwellings, and liaising with external stakeholders including property managers, property developers, property investors and government representatives.

You will be cognisant of what motivates our key external stakeholders and how to influence them, aware of the market drivers affecting residential rental prices, ready to juggle your resources to meet conflicting deadlines and a proven team contributor.
