Queensland Gaming Revenue Trend 

September 2013 has shown an decrease in gaming revenue growth for Queensland Hotels and Clubs.

Total state gaming revenue has decreased 0.22% on September 2012.

The growth and decline that the gaming industry (as a result of the 100% non smoking ban introduced 1 August 2006, and economic factors) has experienced since January 2007 on a yearly month on month basis are illustrated in the following graph:

The Office of Liquor & Gaming Regulation have now upgraded their statistics to use the 2011 Census data Statistical Area Level 4 reporting areas.

Administration/Accounts Manager

Our client is seeking a permanent part-time (20 hours per week) experienced administration and accounts manager for their vibrant property development firm.

The primary functions of this role include accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll, BAS/IAS/PAYG, taxation obligations and compliance, general book-keeping duties, monthly reporting, general day to day administration duties and PA duties to the two directors.

The ideal applicant should possess the ability to develop working knowledge of the business as a whole, excellent interpersonal skills, exceptional MYOB and Excel knowledge, demonstrated initiative and the ability to work autonomously, experience in general book-keeping duties, good organisations skills and attention to detail.
