Tougher economic trading conditions? You need to adapt!
In these tougher economic trading times a number of businesses are seeing one or more of the following decreased revenue, increased costs and decreasing profits.  The answer for most business does not include relocating to a mining area to operate in a buoyant economy.  It is important to be able to recognise the trends, understand those parts of the business and the market place that are being affected, before considering strategies to reverse the negative trends.

In some cases, the strategy will require parts of the business including management and staffing to be restructured or other significant changes.  The business may also be required to "sell" these changes to the various stakeholders such as- customers, financiers, staff, owners, shareholders, members.  A number of businesses undertake this process internally with varying degrees of success. To successfully undertake this internally the business must have the skills and knowledge to do so, be able to be impartial, leave any self interest out of the review and strategy changes, and have a clear understanding of the market and operating environment now and also in the future.

At Jacaranda Advisory we have undertaken a large number of reviews for different business and assisted with future strategies. We are able to offer skills and experience in this area, independence, a knowledge of the market place,  insight how  successful business are addressing some of the issues and  the ability to work with the stakeholders.
If you would like to discuss any matters please feel free to give us a call on 07 3234 8915 or alternatively email one of the team Frank Balzary at frankb@hmw.com.au, Steve Koman at steve@hmw.com.au, or Sarah Obst sarah@hmw.com.au. We look forward to hearing from you.
